The University of Wuppertal with over 15.000 full time students is situated in
"Nordrhein-
Westfalen" (NRW), one of the 16 federal states of Germany, and it borders on the
Netherlands and Belgium in the West. NRW is economically the most significant
German
state with an outstanding educational and cultural landscape.
The interdisciplinary focus in research of our university is a direct response
to the
demands of industries and modern markets. In the Mechanical Engineering
Department we
are searching a PhD student for the following research project:
Knowledge Based Decision Making Framework for Computer Aided Design

Requirements
・MSc. or Diploma degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering,
aerospace engineering, safety engineering, civil engineering etc.
・Experiences in computer aided design, practical experiences in 3D-CAD-systems
(CATIA V5 favoured) would be nice.
・Extensive programming skills are necessary.
・Language skills: English or German (the candidate should agree to learn German
during
the research project).

Salary Net 1500 EUROS/month (scholarship grant ・free of taxes)
